To fit with the month of October, I have started work to convert the many vile items of the Book of Vile Darkness into Fifth Edition Dungeons and Dragons -- while adding some of my own unique items into the mix too. These magical items are both creepy and foul, befitting that of any villain in your game or perhaps if your players are playing villains themselves!
If you are interested in more magical items, click here to find themed items from the month prior! I hope you enjoy these as much as I have converting/creating them!
I enjoy Paizo adventure paths. For anyone with a busy schedule and a severe lack of creativity (such as I), they are useful tools. However, I don’t recommend anyone to use them as-is. Change them. Adjust for your own group. Make them your own. That’s how you run an adventure path.
In any case, my favorite of them is Iron Gods, sheerly for the novelty and atmosphere it brings to the table. Barbarian tribes mixed with chainsaws and laser guns? Who doesn’t like that? People who don’t like fun, that’s who.
So what is the list below me? A list of items from/for Iron Gods, except translated to the 5e setting. Though a good chunk of the list is of my own creation, an even larger chunk is taken from another fellow who has compiled his own list. So, yes, I am standing on the shoulders of giants. I highly recommend checking his blog out here.
Keep in mind I’m only writing in the technological items in. The magical items introduced are not in this list. Cybernetics is an entirely other beast altogether and will likely be continued in a different post.
I do apologize for some of the weird formatting. I've tried to fix it. Didn't work. Shrug.
Hope you enjoy!
